These were some responses to my photographs that kick started the whole interest in Metalic colours and lighting effects on different materials

More layered paper

I think I could have cracked it. I got the desired effect i liked. The illumisous feel in the paint and the subtle colour coming through. I'm happy with this but will keep searching... There is loads I can do with this.

Leyered Paper 2

I had high hopes for this experiment. But the cut out shapes are just too small. They don't let enough effect through. Will keep trying.

Layered Paper

I loved the layered effect of the paper with the Colour underneath. The Colour is so striking. It reminds me of Middle Eastern Colours and shapes that you see in Architecture and looking out windows at the sky.

More Colour

After researching Philip Taaffe and his super work and a combination from Slavs and Tatars, Tate, london. I worked on a series of responses to colour on reflective surfaces.
